1.Wang (Student)

Interning at a hotel in Hokkaido was a valuable experience. I felt very lucky to have such a practical opportunity during my studies. The natural scenery of Hokkaido is breathtaking, and the local culture and unique working style have left a deep impression on me.

During the internship, I was assigned to the front desk service, responsible for receiving tourists from all over the world. Initially, language communication was my biggest obstacle, but as time went on, I gradually adapted and learned to communicate with guests using simple Japanese and English.

Through this internship, I not only improved my professional skills but also gained a deeper understanding of Japanese culture. More importantly, this experience taught me how to work in a multicultural environment and draw from different working methods and attitudes towards life.

2. Hu (Student)

During the internship, I gained a deep understanding of Japan's service culture, especially the importance of respecting guests and anticipating their needs. At work, I learned how to use non-verbal communication to compensate for language barriers, such as expressing sincerity and respect through smiles, bows, and body language. Meanwhile, Japan, a country that emphasizes etiquette and service quality, has extremely high standards for the management of the hotel industry. I also strive to adapt to Japan's rigorous work attitude and efficient work methods, hoping to grow and improve.

3. Wang (Student)

Upon arriving in Hokkaido, I was immediately captivated by its picturesque natural scenery. During the hotel internship, I not only needed to adapt to the fast-paced work environment but also overcome language barriers and cultural differences. Through constant practice, I gradually learned how to communicate basically with guests in Japanese, and more importantly, I learned to listen and understand their needs with my heart.

In the day-to-day work, I found that despite different cultural backgrounds, sincere smiles and attentive service transcended language barriers and became the most direct and effective way to communicate. Whenever I saw guests' satisfied smiles, I felt a great sense of accomplishment.

4.Lyu (Student)

I interned in Hokkaido. I believe there are many people like me who are interested in Japan because of various Japanese animations, songs, and idols, but only a few can actually visit Japan. Beforehand, I also thought I would be one of those who couldn't make it, but fortunately, I managed to secure this opportunity through my own efforts, so I was lucky enough to reach Japan.

Upon arriving in Hokkaido and seeing Hokkaido integrated with nature, I truly understood the "world." I experienced freedom, not the unrestrained or worry-free freedom, but the freedom to face the boundless future. When I saw the vast world, I discovered my infinite possibilities.

5.Lu (Student)

Every day of my internship at a hotel in Hyogo was filled with learning and growth. At first, the differences in culture and work environment made me feel a bit uneasy, but gradually, I began to fit into the local rhythm.

The biggest gain was the recognition of my own potential and a deeper understanding of different cultures. This internship was not only an improvement of professional skills but also a journey of spiritual growth.

During the internship, communicating with guests improved my spoken Japanese. At first, cultural differences posed a challenge to me, but through observation and imitation, I gradually adapted to Japanese etiquette.

In daily life, I tasted the local cuisine of Hyogo, visited local places of interest, and gained a deep understanding of Japanese culture. The accommodation at the internship site was comfortable, and the transportation was convenient, helping me quickly adapt to the new environment. Interning at a hot spring hotel in Oita, Japan, cultural differences were a big challenge for me at the beginning, especially in adapting to Japan's rigorous working style and etiquette requirements. During the internship, despite facing the dual challenges of language and culture, the help of my colleagues enabled me to successfully overcome these difficulties. In my personal life, the beautiful environment and gentle humanistic care of the hot spring hotel allowed me to fully relax after work.

Through this internship, I not only gained valuable work experience but also deepened my understanding of Japanese culture, which had a positive impact on my career development and personal growth.

Interning at a hot spring hotel in Mie Prefecture, Japan, I experienced the rigor and efficiency of the Japanese service industry.
