Wenhua College Establishes Japanese Language Practice Base at the Guangxi Office of the Japan Exchange and Training Program


On April 21, 2023, a delegation from Wenhua College visited the Guangxi Office of the Japan Exchange and Training Program (JETRO). Both parties jointly promoted the education and training of Japanese language talents and held a plaque-hanging ceremony in Guangxi. They entered into a deep cooperation on the cultivation of Japanese language talents, aiming to nurture more professionals in this field for the new era and jointly build a bridge of friendship between China and Japan.

The representatives from Wenhua College who attended the meeting included Hao Ximing, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the Foreign Languages Department; Sun Yuhong, Deputy Director of the Japanese Department of the Foreign Languages Department; Cao Meng, Deputy Director of the International Office; and Mei Lei, Chief of the Comprehensive Section of the International Office.

The representatives from the Japan Exchange and Training Program who attended the meeting included Zou Hu, Head of the China Region; An Liran, Head of the Sakura Bridge Guangxi Office; and Wei Yaping, Teaching Supervisor of the Sakura Bridge Guangxi Office.

At the beginning of the meeting, An Liran, Head of the Sakura Bridge Guangxi Office, welcomed the delegation from Wenhua College. During the meeting, Ms. An briefly reported on the data of students who had participated in the program in the past. She expressed that this collaboration with the college will further improve the student incubation base outside the campus and outlined the strategic vision for cultivating talents suitable for society in the future.

Hao Ximing, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the Foreign Languages Department, and Cao Meng, Deputy Director of the International Office, spoke successively on behalf of Wenhua College, expressing the college's ideas. The college attaches great importance to the establishment of this off-campus practice base and will provide a better platform for students majoring in Japanese in the future. The college strongly supports students participating in off-campus practices to enrich their social experience and accumulate work experience.
